Daniel R. Davis earned the Bachelor of Music Education and Masters degrees in Saxophone Performance and Woodwind Pedagogy while at Ohio University, where he served as a graduate assistant of bands for four years. He also holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Conducting from the College/Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati.
Dr. Davis’ twenty years teaching experience includes High and Middle School in Ohio, Frostburg State University in Maryland, and Cypress Lake Center for the Arts, South Dade High School in Miami, and Estero High School. Dr. Davis is currently in his fifth year as Director of Bands at Caloosa Middle School in Cape Coral.
Davis has been a member of the Southwest Florida Symphony Chorus for eight years and frequently plays saxophone with the Southwest Florida Symphony Orchestra.
